He’s a bonafide internet celebrity; his TikTok and Youtube videos of him walking around the streets of Tokyo, Japan, with his owner, 68-year-old funeral director, Mitani Hisao, have accumulatively garnered over seven million-plus views and counting.

According to the video’s description, Mitani found the giant African tortoise, which he named Bon-Chan, at a pet store about 20 years ago and fell in love with the animal.
