36-year-old German model Jessica Leidolph was mauled by a leopard while posing for photos inside an animal enclosure for retired showbiz animals.
According to the German newspaper BILD, a 16-year-old leopard named Troja sunk its teeth into the model’s head, rendering her unconscious with large wounds on her head and face.
Leidolph, who has a line of erotic calendars, passed out from profuse bleeding and was airlifted to a nearby hospital, where she is currently recovering.
Police are now investigating whether the managers of the wildlife center should be held responsible for the attack due to negligence.
