The Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) Western Air Rescue crew rescued a fortunate dog after surviving an airplane crash and three days in the Arizona wilderness.
According to KOLD News 13, Air Rescue responded to a small airplane crash with one fatality and one injured on September 22.
When the rescue crew arrived at the crash site, they discovered a dog resting near the wreckage area. Unfortunately, the animal ran off before rescuers could take him with them.
AZDPS returned three days later with federal investigators to the site and saw that the dog had returned to the crashed plane.
They took the dog to a local airport where the sheriff’s office picked him up and reunited him with his family. https://t.co/TeQBsOqGH7
